“Set off on a safari of flavor as you enjoy traditional Kenyan food and beer” is how the Kenya marketplace is described for the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The menu for Kenya may look familiar to guests who attended the festival last year, as no additional or new offerings have been added to the marketplace, however, we still recommend a stop here as the dishes are packed with spicy flavor that will have you craving more.

- Peri-Peri Skewered Shrimp with Citrus-Flavored Couscous – $7.00

- 81Bay Brewing Co. Congo Pilsner, Tampa, FL (5.0% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $9.50 for 12 oz.

Kenyan Coffee Barbecued Beef Tenderloin with Sweet Potato-Corn Mealie Pap and Kachumbari Slaw – $6.50
The rub they season these steaks with gives it an odd tinge, but many taste testers raved about this. Like the other dishes here, it’s mildly spicy. For what you pay, you can get yourself some steak tips with interesting sides, and that’s worth exploring in our book.
Peri-Peri Skewered Shrimp with Citrus-Flavored Couscous – $7.00
Another spicy dish, but at least this one was more mild in the spice department. It was a good portion size, too. We were all surprised by how many (large) shrimp was on the skewer. For the money, you have a small meal.
81Bay Brewing Co. Congo Pilsner, Tampa, FL (5.0% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $9.50 for 12 oz.
From correspondence with 81Bay Brewing Co., the Congo Pilsner “is backed by a clean malt profile and elegant use of noble hop varietals. A light bodied beer with notes of toast and honey.”

The 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is running from July 27 through November 18.
