Trader Joe’s is helping dairy-free consumers enjoy the delicious taste of vanilla ice cream this summer with its new Non-Dairy Vanilla Bean Oat Frozen Dessert.
Though not technically a vanilla ice cream, Trader Joe’s Non-Dairy Vanilla Bean Oat Frozen Dessert is pretty darn close to the real thing. The dessert is made completely dairy free and instead uses a sweet, oat-based formulation. The creamy mixture is then studded with flecks of real vanilla bean for that elevated flavor. Best of all, Trader Joe’s notes that the frozen treat “scoops, serves, and, most importantly, eats just like a dairy-based ice cream.”
Though delicious on its own, the new Non-Dairy Vanilla Bean Oat Frozen Dessert pairs perfectly with a glass of root beer, over a warm brownie, or topped with some chocolate fudge sauce.
