Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay is set to open two new “culinary offerings” in Metro Vancouver thanks to a collaboration with Great Canadian Entertainment.
The Hell’s Kitchen chef, restaurateur, TV personality and author’s name and culinary creativity will be offered first through Gordon Ramsay Burger, which is set to open its doors at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam this fall. Described in a news release as the chef’s “signature burger concept that marries culinary finesse with comfort food nostalgia,” the location will be the first of its kind in Canada.

A second Ramsay-led restaurant, called Gordon Ramsay Steak, is set to follow next year at River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond. Offering an “elegant atmosphere and impeccable service,” the steak house menu will boast “only the finest ingredients” and will include Ramsay’s “famous” Beef Wellington.
“Canada has a strong culinary market, and we can’t wait to welcome guests into our new restaurants in the coming months,” Ramsay said in the release.
The two area openings will mark the introduction of “multiple dining experiences to the Canadian market” between Great Canadian and Gordon Ramsay North America, Ramsay’s North American restaurant business that operates restaurants in cities including New York, Boston, Chicago and Las Vegas. The partnership goal is to offer “dynamic” culinary additions to the country’s food scene. The gaming, entertainment and hospitality company currently operates 25 facilities spread throughout B.C., Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
“We are absolutely thrilled to bring Gordon Ramsay’s extraordinary gastronomic vision to our properties,” Matthew Anfinson, chief executive officer of Great Canadian, said in the release, calling the partnership “monumental.”
