A Latin street food restaurant is closing its location in College Hill after more than five years of business.Mashroots posted to its Facebook page announcing the closure of its brick-and-mortar location in College Hill while keeping its stand inside Madisonville food hall, Element Eatery, open. In their Facebook post, the owners shared that after discussions with community partners, they regretfully decided to close.Their last day of business at the College Hill location is Aug. 13.”College Hill has been more than just a location for us; it has been a place that welcomed, motivated, and challenged us to constantly improve ourselves, not only in the service we offer but also in defining what Latin street food truly means. Throughout the years, each and every one of our customers has become a part of our family, showering us with love and support, and for that, we are incredibly grateful,” the owners said in the post.To show their gratitude, the restaurant is offering customers 10 percent off any purchase at their College Hill location until they close on Aug. 13.”You mean the world to us, and we hope to see you at our Element Eatery location and various pop-ups around town as we continue our journey,” the owners said.
