1. Man sexually assaulted teen jogging on Charlotte greenway, police say
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a sexual assault they say occurred on part of the McAlpine Creek Greenway this morning.
This is the second assault in three weeks reported by CMPD. The victim, a 15-year-old teenager, was jogging when she was approached by a man who was exposing himself.

2. Celebrity chef closes uptown Charlotte restaurant and rooftop bar. What’s next?
After three years, Red Salt by David Burke and Cloud Bar by David Burke, both found in the Le Meridien hotel, have officially closed.
Burke, who is known for appearances on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and Food Network’s “Iron Chef,” opened the restaurant and rooftop bar back in 2020.

3. Concert review: Jason Aldean goes off on his critics — and the crowd in Charlotte goes wild
The Charlotte music scene followed up Wednesday’s Beyoncé concert with a Jason Aldean performance last night.
Aldean’s been a polarizing figure as of late after the controversy involving the incendiary message and music video behind his latest single “Try That in a Small Town.”
