It’s November, and with Thanksgiving just a few weeks away, Chef Curtiss Hemm says now is the time to start planning the big meal, including the side dishes.
Chef Curtiss lives in the Champlain Valley, owns the Carriage House Cooking School in Peru, NY, and is the executive chef at The View Restaurant at the Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa in Lake Placid. He joins us every month with ideas for eating local and with the seasons.
“Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It requires no gifts, just reflection on what you’re grateful for,” said Hemm.
