It is no secret that LIV Golf has offered some of its biggest names substantial sums of money to acquire their talents. Some of the highest paid, like Dustin Johnson, might be spending their money on fishing boats and waterside property. Others, like Bryson DeChambeau, are using it to open golf venues as an investment opportunity.
DeChambeau is doing exactly that as he plans to open “UnderPar Life,” a two-story complex with a 42-hitting bay, 500-yard driving range, Tour-level short game area, instructional academy, a Celebrity chef-led restaurant, and three bars.

DeChambeau maintained that his decision to move on from the PGA Tour and join LIV Golf was a “business decision.” This granted him the opportunity to provide a richer life for him and others, and this complex is doing exactly that.
Dechambeau said, regarding the new project (via Front Office Sports):
“Expense is a barrier to most things in life. It is an unusually high barrier to experience the joy of golf. Our initiatives are geared toward making golf more affordable, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone. Our approach, partnering with municipally owned golf courses, removes significant financial obstacles and allows us to grow the community of golfers.”
Since his departure from the PGA Tour and arrival on LIV Golf, which was likely catalyzed by injuries and overall career uncertainty after those ailments, Dechambeau took the opportunity to play less golf and grow his personal brand, something he has done through content creation on various social media platforms.
But this in itself is a noble effort by the U.S. Open Champion to grow the game of golf and provide a fresh entertainment option for people in Fort Worth, Texas, and its surrounding areas.
It will keep kids off the streets and perhaps put a golf club in their hands, and we all know how once that bug bites you, it’s hard to stop chasing it.
It is also going to be one awesome spot, according to the pictures released.
